Where to find Spanish-language services
Most large U.S. cities have at least one parish or congregation offering services in Spanish, and many states have hundreds. States with the highest concentrations include California, Texas, Florida, New York, Illinois, and Arizona.
Catholic parishes
Roughly 40% of U.S. Catholics are Hispanic. Most parishes in cities with Hispanic populations offer at least one Sunday Mass in Spanish — often called Misa en español. Find a Catholic church in your state and check their service times.
Pentecostal iglesias
Pentecostal and Assemblies of God congregations are a vibrant part of Hispanic Christianity in the United States. Many are independent neighborhood churches; others are part of denominations like Iglesia de Dios or Asambleas de Dios.
Baptist and Evangelical
Many Baptist and non-denominational churches host Spanish-language services or have separate Hispanic congregations. The Southern Baptist Convention reports thousands of Spanish-language church plants across the U.S.
Bilingual services
Some churches alternate languages or offer simultaneous translation. If you want a bilingual experience, contact churches directly to ask about their bilingual or Hispanic ministry programs.
